- Purchase ENERGY STAR qualified
windows or doors for your climate zone
between January 1, 2009 and May 31, 2009
- Save the NFRC/ENERGY STAR labels and
accompanying sales receipt for the products
purchased and keep them with your tax
documents. Labels cannot be reprinted.
- Install eligible products in your primary
residence between January 1, 2009 and
December 31, 2010 and meet all other
requirements outlined in the federal tax
code.
- Claim the tax credit associated with our
qualifying purchase on your Federal tax filing
for the applicable 2009 and/or 2010 tax year.

Credit Details
- Tax credit applies to "qualified energy
efficient improvements" which include
exterior windows, doors and skylights
when used for remodeling or
replacement for the taxpayer's primary
residence in the United States.
- Tax credit is for the cost of the product
only and does not include installation
costs. Be sure to ask for a sales
receipt that shows the cost of the
product only.
- Tax credit is 30% of the amount paid
for the product up to a maximum of
$1,500 combined for 2009 and 2010
(including for other eligible items
listed in the IRS Notice).
They add quite a nice
touch to the
appearance - the
solid construction, the
quietness. I hope the
JEA bill also goes
down a good bit. Your
installers answered all
my questions and
didn't mind me
